Senior Investment Analyst
We are looking for an experienced Senior Investment Analyst who will be a core member of the Investment team and will work to identify, evaluate, select, structure, and monitor private assets (as a main sector), and other collective investments.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will contribute to the execution of that philosophy through a combination of (i) creating and sourcing investment opportunities, (ii) underwriting and executing due diligence, (iii) monitoring existing investments and portfolio exposures, and (iv) by contributing across the functions of the investment team and the organization at large.
Main Responsibilities
Evaluate managers’ processes, performance, and team quality; prepare investment memos and presentations.
Monitor portfolio performance, engage with partners, and coordinate on legal or operational updates.
Build and maintain relationships with asset managers and identify new investment opportunities.
Research markets, strategies, and potential investments; analyze risks and returns.
Perform due diligence on new investments and coordinate in-house procedures until investments are completed.
Support reporting, client communications, and ad hoc research projects.
Candidate Job Profile
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance or investment field (due diligence and manager selection experience preferable).
Familiarity with investment legal documentation and negotiations.
Excellent quantitative aptitude and the ability to think abstractly.
Able to handle confidential and sensitive information with a high degree of professionalism.
Able to lead or support an investment process from start to finish.
Experience collaborating in a multi-disciplinary team.
Excellent Greek and English communication skills.
Military obligations fulfilled for Greek citizens.
Will be considered a plus
MBA and/or CFA degree.
Familiarity with insurance sector investment specific requirements.
