Data Management Engineer
We are looking for looking for a Data Management Engineer, to develop MS-SQL queries and procedures, create custom reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services(SSRS) and Power BI, create ETLs using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and support SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
Main Responsibilities
Develop high-quality database solutions
Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL
Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements
Research required data
Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables
Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
Suggest and develop new queries
Develop procedures and scripts for data migration/transfer
Provide timely scheduled management reporting
Investigate exceptions regarding asset movements
Candidate Profile
University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
5 years experience as a Data Management Engineer, SQL Developer or similar role
Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server & T-SQL programming
2 years of experience with SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Analysis Services
Deep Knowledge of TSQL (or PSQL), BI and Reporting (SSRS, PowerBI), ETL (SSIS) & Programming (C# or Visual Basic)
Critical thinker and problem-solving
Great organizational and time management skills
Good communication skills both in Greek and English
No pending military obligations (for Greek citizens)
Will be considered a plus
Previous working experience in Insurance Sector
Previous working experience in Data Warehousing
