Operational Risk Management Specialist
We are looking for looking for a skilled Operational Risk Management Specialist to strengthen our organization's internal controls and proactively identify, manage, and mitigate operational risks.
Role Overview
This critical role involves overseeing the implementation of risk frameworks and initiatives that enhance efficiency, compliance, and resilience across the company.
Main Responsibilities
Manage the RCSA process to identify and evaluate operational risks.
Highlight areas for improvement in systems and processes, driving risk reduction initiatives.
Document, monitor, and analyze incident reports related to operational risks.
Provide actionable insights to address weaknesses and prevent future incidents.
Develop and implement scenario analysis strategies to prepare for extreme events and risk scenarios.
Ensure the organization’s readiness and continuity during crises.
Define, measure, and analyze KRIs to detect potential risks proactively.
Deliver valuable insights to prevent risks that could impact the organization.
Ensure organization’s readiness to maintain operations during crises, fostering business continuity and minimizing disruptions.
Identify, assess, and monitor risks associated with outsourcing activities, ensuring robust oversight, compliance, and alignment with organizational risk appetite.
Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, technological advancements, and geopolitical developments to identify new and evolving risks that may impact the organization.
Design and simulate scenarios to understand the potential implications of emerging risks under various conditions, preparing the organization for potential disruptions.
Candidate Job Profile
BSc in Business Administration, Finance or related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in Operational Risk Management, preferably in the insurance or financial sector.
Proficiency in managing RCSA, incident reports, scenario analysis, and KRIs.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to assess and mitigate risks effectively.
Exceptional collaboration skills to work across departments and implement best practices.
Familiarity with risk management frameworks and tools is highly desirable.
Experience in prioritizing tasks and managing resources effectively.
Excellent communication skills both in Greek and English to report findings clearly.
Proactive with strong decision-making skills.
No pending military obligations (for Greek male citizens).
