Project Manager

We are looking for looking for a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to plan, execute, and oversee projects, ensuring timely, within-scope, and budget-compliant delivery.

Role Overview

This role manages the full project lifecycle, coordinating cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to align with organizational goals. The ideal candidate combines leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills to navigate complex projects, manage risks, resolve conflicts, and maintain clear stakeholder communication. Additionally, the Project Manager will focus on optimizing processes and enhancing efficiency within the project management framework.

Main Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and oversee projects from start to finish.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans that include the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables, merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various teams and technical personnel during all project phases.

  • Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.

  • Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide support, identify problems, create solutions, and implement corrective actions.

  • Analyze economics of project plans and provide actionable feedback relating to cost-benefit and return-on-investment standards.

  • Review proposed modifications on project plans, including meeting with interested parties to approve and implement beneficial changes.

  • Manage project risks and issues, identify potential problems, and implement risk mitigation strategies.

  • Facilitate regular project team meetings and stakeholder updates.

  • Ensure all project documentation is maintained and updated appropriately for each project.

Candidate Job Profile

  • BSc in Business Administration, Engineering or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in insurance or financial industry.

  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana), methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), budgeting, and resource management.

  • Strong knowledge of risk management tools, change management processes and organizational development.

  • Ability to motivate teams, manage stakeholder expectations and negotiate effectively.

  • Proven ability to deliver projects through the full lifecycle, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

  • Creative problem-solving and strong organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication skills, both in Greek and English.

  • No pending military obligations (for Greek male citizens).

Will be considered a plus

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or PRINCE2
