Social Media & Content Specialist

We are looking for looking for a dynamic Social Media & Content Specialist to join our Marketing team and elevate our online presence

Full-time | Hybrid - Athens, Greece

Role Overview

The main focus will be on crafting, curating, and delivering engaging content across our social media and other digital platforms, with the aim of enhancing brand awareness, driving engagement, and supporting key campaigns and initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with various departments to ensure our content resonates with current and potential clients, as well as our network of agents and the broader community.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop a content calendar that aligns with Ethniki Asfalistiki’s strategic goals, focusing on thematic content pillars around insurance, company events, and community engagement.

  • Collaborate with advertising agencies to produce high-quality, engaging, and on-brand content for social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.) and other digital channels (e.g. website, blog) through creative content formats.

  • Update and manage web pages to ensure information is current and accurate, using content management systems (CMS).

  • Curate relevant and trending content that will engage Ethniki Asfalistiki’s audiences and will reinforce the brand’s thought leadership. Apply SEO best practices to improve content visibility in search engines result pages.

  • Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely, professional manner, fostering a sense of community.

  • Assist in developing and implementing social media and other digital campaigns, upon business priorities and requirements.

  • Utilize analytics to track, analyze, and report on metrics to evaluate content performance and optimize future content strategies.

  • Monitor digital trends, audience preferences, and competitor activity to keep Ethniki’s social media presence innovative and responsive. Provide insights on trends and content effectiveness to inform decision-making.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align social media initiatives with broader Marketing and Company communication goals.

Candidate Job Profile

  • BSc or MSc degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.

  • Proficiency in social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, etc.) and management tools (e.g., Hootsuite).

  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret metrics and provide insights.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, campaigns, and initiatives simultaneously.

  • Team player with a positive attitude.

  • Aptitude for

    bringing creative ideas to life.

  • Excellent communication skills, both in Greek and English.

  • No pending military obligations (for Greek male citizens).

Will be considered a plus

Working experience with graphic design or video editing tools.
