A qualified, authorised partner of Ethniki Asfalistiki will be by your side, at no extra cost, to help you cope with the first difficult moments after the accident.

Our qualified partner will:

• document the circumstances of the accident;

• photograph the vehicles involved;

• draw up a rough outline of the circumstances of the accident;

• collect the details of any witnesses;

• help you to complete the Amicable Settlement or the Accident Declaration forms correctly and finalise the accident notification and declaration process.

Once you have correctly completed the Amicable Settlement form and it has been reviewed by the relevant department of our company, we will immediately begin the compensation process, without the 5-day waiting period for a response from the involved company.

• If your damage is up to €300, it is automatically assessed using AI, and the compensation amount will be communicated to you.

• Once you accept the compensation offer and provide all necessary documentation (e.g., IBAN, Identity Card, etc.), your compensation will be deposited within 1 business day!

For accident report appointments, you can call (+30) 210 90 99 000 to schedule a date and time when an authorized representative from our Accident Care team will visit your location to complete and collect the report.

Note: In order to sign the Amicable Settlement Form, the insurance companies involved must participate in the Direct Payment System (DPS).

If your vehicle is grounded due to an accident, the Accident Care partner will make sure to notify the respective services that your vehicle needs to be towed/moved to a local auto repair shop.

For this to happen, your contract must cover local towing following an accident or roadside assistance.

To repair your vehicle, you may choose to have it transferred to one of the auto repair shops cooperating with Ethniki Insurance and enjoy unique benefits such as:

• Direct payment of the repair costs for your vehicle from Ethniki Asfalistiki to the cooperating auto repair shop, in case you are not responsible for the accident or in accordance with the coverage plan stipulated in your contract;

• Guaranteed quality of repair works in certified auto repair shops;

• Quick repair;

• Possibility to have your vehicle repaired with new spare parts at full cost, without wear-and-tear deduction (for vehicles up to 5 years old);

• Provision of a replacement car in case the repair takes more than 2 working days or the amount of repairs exceeds €600.

Note: Apart from the auto repair shops cooperating with Ethniki Asfalistiki, you may contact any other auto repair shop you choose in order to have your vehicle repaired.

If you do not call Accident Care on-site, you must report the accident to Ethniki Asfalistiki within 8 days from the date of the accident by sending us a completed and signed Amicable Settlement Form or Accident Declaration Form with the following attachments:

• Personal Data Processing Consent Form (GDPR);

• A copy of your vehicle registration certificate;

• A copy of the driver’s licence of the driver involved.

The forms and supporting documents required to report an accident can be sent to Ethniki Asfalistiki in one of the following ways:

1. By post with the indication ‘CAR DAMAGES’ to the following address: 103-105 Syngrou Avenue, Athens, 117 45;

2. By e-mail to: zimies.motor@ethnikiasfalistiki.gr;

3. Through your insurance intermediary;

4. In person at one of the Ethniki Asfalistiki's offices.

To settle the damage to your vehicle, you should be able to provide at least the following supporting documents:

• Original invoices or copies thereof sent by e-mail, unless you have chosen to repair your vehicle in one of the auto repair shop cooperating with Ethniki Asfalistiki;

• IBAN certificate for your bank account to which you wish to have your indemnification transferred, or a photocopy of the bank account booklet, or a printout from Internet Banking, or a printout from a branch office of the bank;

• Payment Receipt Form, which should be completed and sent to use in order to proceed with the transfer of the indemnification to the bank account you have notified to us.

Depending on the damage sustained to your vehicle you will need to choose between the following 4 options with regard to the Payment Receipt Form:

1. Proof of Claim Payment for Material Damages with Amicable Settlement;

2. Proof of Claim Payment for Injuries with Amicable Settlement;

3. Proof of Claim Payment for Material Damages without Amicable Settlement;

4. Proof of Claim Payment for Injuries without Amicable Settlement.

The forms and supporting documents required to report an accident can be sent to Ethniki Asfalistiki in one of the following ways:

• By post with the indication ‘CAR DAMAGES’ to the following address: 103-105 Syngrou Avenue, Athens, 117 45;

• Through your insurance intermediary;

• In person at one of the Ethniki Asfalistiki offices.

For a distance of 0-50 km from the place of permanent residence

• On-site repair (if possible);

• Vehicle recovery in case your vehicle has left the roadway;

• Transfer of the vehicle to an auto repair shop of your choice.

For distances exceeding 50 km from the place of permanent residence

• On-site repair (if possible);

• Vehicle recovery in case your vehicle has left the roadway;

• Transfer of the vehicle to the nearest auto repair shop and accommodation at a hotel near the auto repair shop up to a total of €200, or transfer of the vehicle within 2 days to an auto repair shop of your choice, close to your place of residence;Travel medical coverage.

Roadside Assistance services in Greece are provided in collaboration with the leading insurance service provider ‘Mondial Assistance’ with the legal name AWP P&C SA.

• On-site repair (if possible);

• Vehicle recovery in case your vehicle has left the roadway;

• Transfer of the vehicle to the nearest suitable auto repair shop and accommodation at a hotel up to a total of €500 per event, if the estimated repair time exceeds 5 working days;

• Repatriation of the vehicle to the nearest auto repair shop to your permanent residence, if the estimated repair time exceeds 15 working days;

• Travel medical coverage.
