Junior Reporting Accountant

Role overview

We are seeking a motivated Junior Reporting Accountant to join the Finance Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to develop their skills in financial reporting and accounting within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Support the monthly financial closing process and related activities

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and year-end consolidation package for submission to the parent company of the Group in line with IFRS requirements

• Participate in the preparation of interim/annual statutory reporting under

  IFRS and Greek GAAP

• Perform reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data

• Liaise with auditors to facilitate audits

• Contribute to process improvements and reporting automation initiatives

Candidate Job Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance or equivalent

• Up to 3 years professional experience, preferably with a Big 4 Accounting firm or in the insurance /banking sector

• Advanced Excel skills plus comfort with financial reporting tools

• Familiarity with SAP ERP system is considered a strong asset

• Basic knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles

• Excellent organization skills, with ability to manage a dynamic workload under tight deadlines

• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership and willingness to learn

• Excellent communication skills, both in Greek and English

• Professional qualification/ part-qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, SOEL), is considered a strong asset

• No pending military obligations (for Greek male citizens)
