Motor Claims Litigation Adjuster
We are looking for an experienced Motor Claims Litigation Adjuster who will be responsible to manage and resolve litigated motor claims.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of legislation, litigation procedures and motor claim processes. This position involves working closely with lawyers, experts, and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient and compliant claim resolutions.
Main Responsibilities
Handle motor insurance claims that are in litigation.
Conduct out-of-court negotiations to reach settlements efficiently.
Initiate and manage recovery actions against third parties, insurers or customers.
Liaise with external lawyers, investigators, and experts.
Assess liability and damages (material and bodily injuries) and propose settlements.
Attend mediations, court proceedings, and expert assessments when necessary.
Prepare detailed reports and risk exposure assessments.
Ensure compliance with internal claims processes and Bank of Greece regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate records for experts’ KPIs.
Candidate Job Profile
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, insurance, or other related field.
3–5 years of experience in insurance claims adjusting, preferably in litigated cases.
Strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
Team-oriented with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
Ability to meet deadlines, and handling multiple projects, with attention to detail.
Good command of English (written and spoken).
No pending military obligations (for Greek male citizens).
Will be considered a plus
Experience in a multinational or international environment.
Strong legal background will be appreciated
