Role Overview
Ethniki Asfalistiki is looking for a Business Process Improvement Professional to support the analysis, redesign, and improvement of key business processes across the organization. The role focuses on delivering practical process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, service quality, and customer experience, while supporting the organization’s broader transformation efforts.
The position is hands-on and execution-oriented, suitable for a professional who can independently manage improvement projects, analyze processes and operational data, and collaborate with business teams to identify simplification and digital enablement opportunities.
Main Responsibilities
- Analyze and document business processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
- Deliver process improvement initiatives from analysis through implementation support.
- Analyze available operational data and performance indicators to support fact-based improvement recommendations.
- Facilitate process discussions with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges and identify improvement opportunities.
- Identify opportunities for process simplification, standardization, and digital enablement (e.g. workflow improvements, automation opportunities).
- Coordinate implementation of agreed improvement actions and monitor progress towards expected operational improvements.
- Contribute to process documentation and maintenance of the organization’s process repository.
- Support the definition of business requirements for process improvement or digital initiatives.
- Contribute to improvement initiatives across customer journeys and operational processes, supporting simplification and improved customer experience.
Candidate Job Profile
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, or any related field.
- Up to 5 years of hands-on experience in business process improvement, business analysis, operations improvement, or transformation projects (experience in insurance, financial services, consulting, or other complex service environments will be considered an asset)
- Experience in process analysis, mapping and improvement, supported by a structured, analytical problem‑solving mindset.
- Ability to work independently on projects while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders, using data to support analysis and measure outcomes.
- Result-oriented approach, focused on delivering practical and measurable improvements.
- Familiarity with process mapping tools (e.g. Visio, ARIS, Signavio or similar) and digital transformation concepts such as automation (RPA), workflow tools and AI‑driven process optimization; knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma or similar) is a plus.
- Strong command of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); familiarity with Power BI or similar tools will be considered an asset.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
- No pending military obligations (for Greek male citizens).
